Delmo Agro Automated Hatchery Complex

Project Overview

This project involved the turnkey construction of a fully automated hatchery complex for one of Sri Lanka's largest poultry producers. The facility was built using a pre-fabricated steel structure to ensure rapid deployment and superior biosecurity control.
Key engineering challenges included the installation of a specialized HVAC system to maintain precise temperature and humidity levels required for the incubation units (imported from Petersime, Belgium). The floor plan was designed with strict "clean zones" and "dirty zones" to meet ISO 22000 and HACCP international hygiene standards. We also installed a backup power plant to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
